Our Team

Rick Edwards has developed, owned and operated real estate and his own companies from 1979. Rick co-founded Amsted in 1979 and Grae Ventures in 1994 and has purchased and developed properties for partnerships, joint ventures and for his own account. He is actively involved in the creation, enhancement and retention of value through development and renovation of properties. In 1996 he founded Seagrove as a successor to Amsted and Grae and has continued his development efforts Seagrove since that time. Beginning in 1985 he has been active as a private merchant banker investing as a principal in the formation, restructuring, and buyouts of niche based companies. Rick started in 1970 with Touche Ross & Company where he earned a Certified Public Accountant designation. Rick’s academic training includes a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of California and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Oregon in 1970.

David Gilmore directs the planning and entitlement process for all Seagrove developments. David personally represents Seagrove at all public hearings, negotiations with public and private agencies and in the retention and direction of all project consultants and contractors. From 1985 to the present David has been involved in retail land use, public agency entitlements and construction of over 100 commercial retail shopping center developments throughout California, Washington, Arizona and Nevada. David graduated from California State University, Fullerton, majoring in Political Science with a minor in Public Administration.

Ryan Edwards is responsible for acquisitions, leasing and day-to-day operations in the Seagrove offices. Prior to joining Seagrove, Ryan was a Project Manager with Jones Lang LaSalle focusing on developing new and renovating existing Audi of America’s Western Region dealerships. He also worked with a JLL team on the 800,000 sf office renovation of DirecTV’s global headquarters in El Segundo. Prior to his work at JLL, Ryan worked as a Project Manager with Cresa Partners renovating workplaces and campuses for Activision Blizzard, Blue Shield of California, East West Studios, HBO, Mass Mutual, Deckers Outdoor Corporation and Philips Oral Healthcare. Mr. Edwards graduated from the University of California, Davis with a Bachelors Degree in Economics.
